Thermal Imaging

Thermal imaging uses a drone-mounted thermal camera to detect temperature anomalies that can indicate heat loss, moisture intrusion, insulation gaps, roof issues, or equipment hotspots, captured efficiently and safely from above.

How we work

Who is it for

  • Facilities and building owners/managers

  • Roofing contractors and building envelope teams

  • Industrial operators monitoring equipment or electrical assets (where appropriate)

Available Deliverables

  • Thermal imagery set + visual images

  • Annotated thermal report (PDF) highlighting hotspots/anomalies

  • Combined visual + thermal comparison panels for stakeholders

Typical Use Cases

  • Roof moisture checks and flat-roof assessments

  • Heat loss inspections for building envelopes

  • Locating insulation gaps or air leakage patterns

  • Identifying abnormal heat signatures on equipment

  • Post-repair verification scans

Turnaround

  • Typical: 2–3 business days after the flight (depending on deliverables and site size)

  • Thermal work is weather/time dependent, so scheduling can matter
